Miss Amanda Hendon

Amanda is a 2006 graduate of Port Neches Groves High School where her major course of study, criminal justice, earned her college scholarships and recommendations.  Since high school, she has begun to further her education at the University of Phoenix Online with a major in Health Administration. Amanda has been involved in many community activities over the years including acting and singing in Port Arthur Little Theatre productions, modeling in fashion shows and photography, dancing in Taylor Dance Company’s annual performance of Babes in Toyland, singing at local nursing homes, and performing the National Anthem at Groves American baseball tournaments.  In the future, she plans on becoming a doctor and continuing to further her education.  Amanda enjoys reading, writing, singing, dancing, and attending CFMA functions.  She is very passionate about her culture and heritage and will do everything she can to make the CFMA proud. Amanda is the 18 year old daughter of Mike and Carol Phelps.
