Jerry Dugas was born October 28, 1929, in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana and graduated from Carencro High School in 1946. He attended and graduated from Chenier’s Radio College in Beaumont, Texas.

Jerry worked as an engineer for KSIG in Crowley, Louisiana before moving to Radio Station KJEF in Jennings, Louisiana. He had a 30 minute program called Allons Danser and the program aired three hours a week and is now a 12-hour a week radio show, running four hours each Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.

With all music and commercials, in Cajun, Jerry has done many remote broadcasts from KJEF’s Lovin’ Van and Allons Danser has been on the air for 34 years.
